Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the PingPlay Android app, PingPlay Studio and this website (the “Services”), operated by Irvan Fahlepi (“PingPlay”, “we”, “us”). By using the Services you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

1. Who can use PingPlay

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you confirm you're allowed to accept these Terms for it.

2. Your account

You can use the App without an account, or sign in with Google to sync your progress. Creators need a Studio account. Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly if you think your account has been misused.

3. Playing games

Games in the feed are made by independent creators. We review games before they go live, but we don't guarantee that any game is free of bugs or will always be available. Games are provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment.

Leaderboards are for fun. We may remove scores or reset leaderboards that look manipulated, and suspend accounts that cheat.

4. Your content

You own what you post (for example comments and your player name). By posting it you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute it within the Services. Don't post anything that's illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.

5. For creators (PingPlay Studio)

  • You keep ownership of the games, art, names and other materials you upload (“Creator Content”).
  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, review, adapt for technical delivery (for example caching and generating previews), display, promote and distribute your Creator Content through the Services for as long as it is published, and for a reasonable time afterwards to remove it from caches and backups.
  • You confirm you have all rights needed for your Creator Content, including for any code, assets, music or trademarks it uses, and that it doesn't contain malware, collect players' personal data without their consent, or try to break out of its sandbox.
  • Your game must follow the PingPlay game guidelines shown in Studio. We may reject, remove or unpublish games at our discretion, and we'll try to tell you why.
  • Analytics in Studio are provided as-is and may include estimates.

6. Acceptable use

Don't: break the law using the Services; interfere with or attack the Services or other users; scrape or overload the Services; reverse-engineer them except where the law allows; impersonate others; or use the Services to send spam.

7. Our rights

The PingPlay name, logo, app and Studio are owned by us and protected by law. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using the Services at any time and delete your data as described on Delete your data.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PingPlay won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to USD 50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continuing to use the Services after a change means you accept the new Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live still apply.
